When choosing the date to schedule a makeup, use the drop down of the calendar, not month and date separately choice. I usually know that the makeup is next Thursday, for example, but I don't know the date off the top of my head. It gives the calendar option for posting absent, but not scheduling a makeup. Calendar for choosing the date for both would make things much easier.
