Avoid overcharging when students change classes

We love the option that with online registration we can collect the tuition up front. We also love that parents can drop and add classes if they need to adjust their schedule. Unfortunately, DSP currently over charges parent in some cases. We use the DSP option to charge by the number of classes a student takes per month or fixed tuition for our company members. Today, each time the student adds a class they get charged their total tuition for the month even if they have already paid tuition for the month. When students are swapping classes after the month's tuition has been processed, they shouldn't be charged again that same month. This is especially painful at the beginning of a season as students are settling into their classes and at the beginning of registration.

Please add an option in the online registration options / tuition fee calculation that when a student added a class which does not have a “special rate” it would only charge the delta between what the student has already paid for that specific month and the new monthly tuition amount (for fixed fee students this would always be zero).

We have had parents change classes several times and they ended up paying the monthly tuition multiple times in one month. Fixing and refunding these charges is time consuming for us and frustrating for parents.

Yes. When a parent drops a class, there needs to be an automatic refund for that class. We have parents that sign up and then realize they signed up for the wrong class. They have to pay for that first class before they can sign up for the correct class. And, I have to go in an manually to make adjustments. It would be nice if there was an automatic refund or at least a credit applied to the account when a class is dropped.
