Add ability to drag date range for teacher/staff unavailable dates

I just tried to enter a range of dates for when a teacher is unavailable. Instead of being able to specify a range, either by entering it in the field or clicking the calendar and dragging the dates, I had to individually selecting and save every. single. day. Not helpful. Please add the ability to either manually enter a date range in the field and/or drag the date range in the calendar.
