Run Class Dashboard Report based on Class end dates, not season dates

Currently the Class Dashboard Report is populated based on Season End Dates. This doesn't make sense for classes that end part way through a season. If checking a date in this report for when the class was in session, then it should show up, and if checking a date after the class has ended, then it should not show up at all. The idea of marking the class as "inactive" is not the right solution, because we still need to prove that attendance was taken for days it was in session. but if it stays "active", as I do weekly attendance checks it will always show up and I keep emailing the teacher to update the attendance and she has to keep reminding me that it is no longer in session... wasting everyone's time! We have way too many classes to actually remember every week about this one class, and I am also not the only one doing this task, so others do not know about it either. Thank you for your help!
