I have never been keen on DSP format with statements as I CONSTANTLY get parents asking what the breakdown is. I would love the statement to show/state....
• what season the bill is for
• individual classes & separate cost of each class (or combined if you have lots of classes)
• any discounts
• any overdue payments
I have sent screenshots to DSP asking for help, showing them how by changing the current settings it still doesn’t show the correct information
DSP have confirmed this isn’t possible & suggested I submit an idea.
This is not done! It only shows when you Post Statement and not when it is done via system. It is so frustrating!
Hey DSP,
You've marked this as Done however I still dont seem to have any option for showing the breakdown of discounts on my statements. Am I missing something? Thanks, Lisa
Hi there,
Sorry, please elaborate.
Has Dance Studio Pro adjusted the invoicing system to break down the
invoices? Are we able to view the discounts applied? Are we able to manage
our own invoices and see their format before we email?
Are we able to post tuition without having to go to that tab and post
tuition? Can it be added once classes are added?
Kind regards,
Madison
It would be great to see the full account breakdown befor ethe discounts are added. When parents ask me for the breakdown I always have to re-do for them.
totally agree this is the one area where DSP lets it self down
yes please!!! I totally agree! The parents need a breakdown and should be able to see the discounts applied
I totally agree. We have discounts that applied to multiple classes etc and you can't see this on the invoice
The only thing I dislike about DSP is the way statements are laid out. This would be an absolute game changer!
And be able to group base category. Tuition, Competition Fees, Uniforms, etc. That way they can see what categories they owe a balance for. We don't let our dancers pay for competition fees if they haven't first paid their tuition. Sometimes they try to pay for special things without paying tuition and if we could help them see what category amounts are unpaid that would be beneficial.
