Simple Substitute/Guest Teacher Tracking for ALL Admin staff to enter/have access to please!

We need a way to enter and save the name of a substitute or guest teacher right in the class on iPad Class Manager to help all admin staff in the subsequent actions listed at the end. Here is my concept proposal:

*Open iPad Class Manager, change date needed, open the class needed.

*Directly under the name and time/date and teacher info there should be a field named “Substitute/Guest Teacher” where we can click in the field and type any name we want (as sometimes subs are not part of our regular staff, and guest teachers are not part of our staff database).

*Click a “save” button directly to the right of the field.

*Then that info shows right where you typed it, and another copy of the field named “Substitute/Guest Teacher” where we can click in the field and type any name we want will show up directly below it – which allows us to continue adding more names if we have more than one sub or guest in that class.

*Saved text field info should be visible in iPad Class Manager AND in the Class Dashboard Reports ONLY on the specified class and date that it was saved to.

This allows us to quickly and easily fulfill 3 purposes for multiple people involved in this attendance process:

1. one admin staff to enter the sub/guest at the time that they learn it, which can be well in advance of the class day in some cases.

2. another admin staff can look to see WHO they need to give the hard-copy attendance sheets to on the day of the class (as we are not giving access of our system to the subs/guests)

3. a third admin staff can quickly see who to ask about attendance if by chance it was never returned or entered (which can be days after the fact, after everyone has forgotten who the sub was). I only work part time, and so on Wednesdays when I start work for the week, I have to go back and get caught up on attendance checks for days I was not working.
