System detects when class cards are expired

We are running into an issue with some of our drop in dancers. We don't offer class cards for our younger students during the school year, but the system is giving them the option to "bring a punch card" at check out for a drop in if they have punches left on a class card that has already expired. Is there a way to fix this, so the system will only offer the bring a punch card option for dancers who have a card that isn’t expired and has punches left? We would remove the option altogether, but we offer adult class cards during the school year. I appreciate your help!
