Appointments should appear in chronological order in portal

Right now, if parents click on "book an appointment" > "my appointments," their appointments appear in reverse chronological order. This is counter-intuitive, and should be changed. (Ie: season-long recurring appointments should be listed with September at the top and June at the bottom.) Also, to add to another's idea about being able to change the text "book a private lesson" text in the portal - my families do not book their own lessons, and I have disabled this feature. Having customisable text options here would be great. Or just simply saying "private lessons and appointments."

Summary and restatement:

The current appointment display system in the parent portal shows appointments in reverse chronological order, which is not intuitive. The suggestion is to change this order, particularly for season-long recurring appointments, to display them chronologically (e.g., September at the top, June at the bottom). Additionally, there's a request for customizable text options for the "book a private lesson" feature, especially for businesses that don't allow self-booking.

Problem solved: The idea addresses the confusing presentation of appointment schedules and the inflexibility of portal text for businesses with different booking practices.

How it should work:

  1. Appointments should be listed in chronological order.

  2. The portal should offer customizable text options for the booking feature.

Who benefits:

  • Parents and clients who view appointments

  • Business owners who manage appointment bookings

  • Staff who handle scheduling

Impact:

  1. Improved user experience for parents and clients

  2. Better alignment with various business models and booking practices

  3. Increased clarity in appointment scheduling and viewing

  4. Enhanced customization options for business owners
