If parents could access email history, then those that are not receiving due to spam or lost in cyber space would be able to just go to account and check every so often and never miss an email. Or if we had an open rate capability we would be able to know who has received email and opened. However, history already exists on the admin side and ultimately would be best option to always have at finger tips for parents too. Thanks!
This is fundamental to open communication with clients. They have to look for our emails instead of being able to just see the list in their account like we can. It would be so helpful to prove we have sent the details and they did see it.
Yes, this would be so helpful! We recently surveyed our parents and encouraged suggestions to improve our service and their experience. The top 3rd suggestion/request was to have access to emails on the parent portal. In addition to those who claim they don’t receive the emails, several noted that they do receive, but are already so inundated with other emails that inevitably ours get lost in the shuffle. This comment from one of our parents: “PLEASE can you send the emails to my portal??? This way I know where to find them. I get tons of emails everyday and can’t always sort thru them right away. I try my best to stay up to date about ******’s dance classes but still fell out of the loop a few times this year because I missed the email.”
