Online store~have the item options required to be selected before order goes through

When selling merchandise online, we found that some parents did not select the item options before placing their order. We then had to go back to them and ask for the information. For example, we sold recital t shirts, and one of the "item options" we created was to select a size. Because the item option is not required from the parent, some orders came through without a size selected. If the item options that we put in were required, then the orders would come through complete.
