Default the Due Date

We use due dates so that parents can pick which fees they are paying. Unfortunately, some times we forget to set a due date which ends up in either us having to edit a bunch of transactions or parents calling with questions. We would like to be able to have a setting to always default the due date of a transaction to "today". Then we would only have to set it for the specific fees that have due dates in the future.
