Send emails to parents in small batches without having to click one box at a time

It would be great if we could send emails in batches to parents. Similarly to how we can go into Students > More > select age range, it would be great if we could go into Parents > More > last names range (A-C, D-F and so on). Since sending to over 199 contacts goes to spam mail, it is very tedious to click one box at a time for all 700+ of our active parents. Better filters for email recipients would be much apprecitated.
