It would be helpful if the app was able to send a notification to the parents that they have a chat waiting for them rather than parents having to download a separate app to get a notification. Parents won't know they have a chat if they don't get a notification.
The app doesn’t make noise when a chat comes through even when your notifications are set to do so. How hard would it be to make the app work like every other app and have actual sound notifications?
I know that it is in the mobile inventor app, but it doesn't notify you that you have a chat like it does notify for the app notifications.

agreed. I am paying for the app and encourage parents to use the app as much as possible. Now parents have to download an additional app for this feature to work? This is a tough sell. I wish they could receive the notification right from the app.
