The ability to personalize emails to include first or last name. For example, sending out Company acceptance letters, would be nice to include the student's name to make it feel more personal and not generic.
Can we personalize emails and texts with parent and or student names, automatically? Is there a code we enter in? In previous software we had to do something like {Parent's First Name} or {Student's Last Name} and the system would read what we had in that specific category/column. Checking to see if that is a feature we have with DSP.
To say that we can do this in other systems is poor customer service. The point of using a software system and us choosing a software system is becasue of the softwares capibilities in serving ALL that we need it to do and be able to accomplish to make our systems streamlined. I encourage you all to revisit this feature as emailing and text are becoming the #1 way of communication we need to be able to personalize our communications.
Elite is all about lead capturing and if anyone does even just basic reseach you have higher conversion rates when your communications are personalize. When setting up automated emails and text this is a highly normal feature in majority of other softwares, as you mentioned it's typically a standard feature that is offered in multiple other softwares.
Somewhere else DSP has said they would not implement this because you can connect to Constant Contact or Mailchimp and personalize there... Dear DSP, please recognize the inconvenience of that. I understand not updating your email system to include more layout features for pictures or buttons or things like that, but a simple [merge field] feature would be super valuable... even if it's just for names. Automated emails for trial classes, birthdays, absences and more are automatically personalized.
Posting here incase the other idea was closed:
