We have a spreadsheet of fees that we need to post for each competition. They vary student by student. It would be great if we could upload the fees into DSP.
Right now we have to post each student by hand. This takes lots of time for hundreds of transactions.
Since we already have a spreadsheet it would be great it it could be uploaded. It could be something simple like the attached where fill out the basic transaction info then upload a file with two columns, one with the student name or id and the other with the amount. Or if it is easier we could could have columns for student, amount, Memo, transaction code, transaction date, due date :)
Any chance this will ever be considered? I have even looked into zapier and zapier only lets you "download" data from DSP, it does not let "upload"/create data in DSP
Thanks Beth, we also have a "class" per piece/dance. That said, we prefer to have the total competition fee posted, instead of fees for each dance. Our parents find the DSP statements confusing already with how the payments are split, if we had to have competition fees split per dance, it would cause even more questions/frustration. That means for each competition we are manually entering in the total fee for each dancer. It is very painful.
We create a separate season for our competition team. Each piece is entered as a class and then I can go and post a charge to the entire class/piece for each comp fee and costume fees. Hope this helps.
