why can't a put the recital on the class calendar so parents can see when it is for all class that are in it. currently have to add it as an extra class time, which makes no sense. it should have a special color and be bold on the seasons schedule. it is the whole reason most of us have studios. There should be a whole area on it that we can add information and tell parent click the recital tab and it should all be there.
I put my recital in the events section>share with specific classes>then I select only the classes that are performing in that show. This way it only shows up on the calendar for those participating in the show. Just an idea!
