I have students that are non-binary and therefore do not select a gender when enrolling. Their choice not to select a gender leaves them off of costume ordering reports and out of data collection for some things, which is unfair to them and also makes things difficult for us.
I posted a request for Preferred Name field to be added as well and for that name to be the one pulled into rosters. This is important for many different students and so helpful in classes.
Check out our latest "What's New"! We've added the option to collect preferred pronouns and make asking for gender optional.
This should be standard practice for all accounts.
