I would love it if there were an option when processing a payment to automatically email a receipt. Perhaps a checkbox on the payment processing screen so you can choose to send it or not. Having it be a 2 step process takes a long time (especially with my slow computer). It adds up a lot when processing monthly payments, as I don't use autopay.
Automatic receipts for all payment types would be great. They go out automatically when a parent pays through the portal, but I often forget to hit the receipt button when I am manually entering cash and check payments.
Also the ability to send a receipt for all transactions between a certain set of dates, either to an individual family or the an entire group of families at once. This would be especially helpful at the end of the dance season (so parents can have a record of the total amount they spent that season), in January for the previous calendar year for those who are able to deduct some of the expenses on their taxes, and anytime for students who may be benefitting from outside scholarships, grants or financial assistance and need to send proof that their funds were being used appropriately. Bonus if it can be set up for parents to do this on their own from their parent portals!
Auto-Pay does not yet automatically generate and send a receipt either, so it's a slow process either way. Love this idea for all payments - manual & auto-pay. Thanks so much!
