We can't use the private lessons feature currently because of its lack of functionality. I wish we could pick the room, student/students, and teacher when booking a lesson. It is really complicated to make different appointment types for every single teacher. It would much better if we could make a type of appointment and then choose the teacher when it is booked. As far as billing goes: the system should bill accordingly based on the teachers' normal rate listed in the teacher profile on DSP. This would be so much better than having to make a ton of different type of appointments.
We also need to be able to edit appointments easily. I wish we could go in and change the day/time for appointments. There is no way to drag an appointment to next months calendar, which makes it very challenging to change.
Right now, we can't change the duration of a recurring lesson for just one week or even cancel one lesson within the recurring appointments. Sometimes kids get sick and have to cancel. If this happens, I have to cancel the entire recurring series just to cancel the one and then make a new recurring appointment. This is one of the reasons why we can't use this feature. It's causing more trouble than it's helping :( It would be the best thing ever with the changes lots of us have suggested!!
If the teacher name could be displayed with the private lesson that would be a huge help also! On the calendar/invoices it does not show who is teaching the lesson
