I like the fact that you can post future tuition to accounts but I wish it wouldn't show up on the parents statements or transaction lists until the posted date. For example, I posted future October tuition and set the date for Sept. 30 but it is already showing up on parent's portals that they owe for it even though the due date is not until Oct. 15. However, they only know what they owe for if they pull up the statement.
yes my parents get angry because if they open parent portal it says "you owe" even on future due dates. If they could open their parent portal and see "you owe" and "future balance" or something along those lines. Parents want us to put in our monthly tuition and competition fees at beginning of year with due dates, so they can pay ahead.
Yes, I have seven Performing Groups that pay Monthly, Quarterly, or Yearly fees. Then I also have Monthly and Quarterly Tuition Fees. My old system, I could go and set dates for the entire year on a second page, and on the 1st of the month, it would show up on their page for me to bill. I have almost 600 students (590) and if I could pre-post, that would save me SOOOOOOOO much time later! Thank you! Pam
Sometimes we split payments across a couple months so I post them with drop & due dates, but I get so many confused parents asking why it's on their statement if it isn't due. Please fix this.
I know this doesn't have a lot of votes... BUT this is SO NECESSARY!!! Being able to pre-date charges that don't drop into a family account until the charge date would be game changer. Studio Director has this and we used it ALL THE TIME before switching to DSP.
This feature doesn't work. If it's posting a future tuition amount then it shouldn't post it until the date you've selected. This would save so much time.
